Fjätervålen has a long tradition of skiing. In January 2018, the construction and property development company Serneke became a new major shareholder. This guarantees continued growth and enables skiing in Fjätervålen to flourish.
Fjätervålen’s ambition is to become the most sustainable mountain destination in the Nordic region and the most innovative ski village when it comes to sustainability and the environment. In Fjätervålen, you will be offered smart solutions that facilitate both a sustainable and active lifestyle. Among other things, the center will be designed with transport lifts so that you don’t have to make unnecessary trips by car. Becoming the most sustainable mountain destination in the Nordic region is a powerful vision, but we know that there is a longing for a genuine village where you can be yourself and enjoy yourself with a clear conscience.
The detailed plan has been up for consultation and will be reviewed this summer, hopefully coming into force in early 2025.
