All of the cottages and apartments we offer are privately owned and characterized by their unique charm. Our accommodations are spread across the entire area and offer options both close to the slopes and more secluded, with many cozy options close to the mountains. Almost all of our accommodations are close to the cross-country trails in the area.
Many of the cottages are equipped with Wi-Fi and have charging stations for electric cars. Our simple online booking system allows you to easily filter according to your accommodation preferences, such as pet-friendly, dishwasher, sauna, charging station, and more.
We are proud to offer a variety of accommodations in different sizes and price ranges, each of which is close to the mountains and offers a cozy atmosphere. There is simply something for everyone’s needs and desires.
Our accommodations are bookable Saturday-Saturday, Sunday-Sunday throughout the season, and Sunday-Thursday and Thursday-Sunday during the low and mid seasons. Bookable days are marked in bold in the calendar in the booking module.
Fjätervålen is located in northern Dalarna, just 30 minutes by car from Idre. An idyllic place where the mountains meet the charm of Dalarna.

LINEN SET
Minimize your packing by pre-booking a linen set for your accommodation (duvet cover, pillowcase, fitted sheet, hand towel, and bath towel). Pre-book at least 3 days before arrival, and delivery to your accommodation is included.
FIREWOOD
Many of our cozy mountain cabins have wood-burning stoves, and you can stock up on birch wood from Sveg at the local grocery store.
