Downhill skiing

18 well-groomed slopes in genuine mountain scenery.

Our 18 slopes are long and perfect for high-speed cruising with long, sharp carving turns. There are a handful of black runs in a system otherwise dominated by red and blue slopes. The large skiing area in relation to the number of guests means that it never feels crowded and that the slopes do not get worn out. There are also inviting off-piste opportunities – the powder is often knee-deep both on the bare mountain and in the forest. All the slopes meet at the bottom, so everyone in the group can choose their own favorite slope and then meet again at the foot of the hill.

Children have their own area with a button lift and a gentle slope to practice on. There is also a snow park with jumps, rails, and boxes for older children and adults who are eager to play.

Fjätervålen is a favorite for many alpine clubs, which like to hold training sessions and competitions here. The slopes meet the international FIS standards for slalom, giant slalom, and super-G for women. Fjätervålen has been the arena for the Swedish elite in the Swedish Championships in Giant Slalom several times.
Here you can choose between two different lift passes. One is Fjätervålen’s own, and the other is the Idre Pass, which is also valid in Idre Fjäll & Idre Himmelfjäll, with a total of 83 runs.
